Every one of them a Gauntlet survivor looking like they just saw God. Reese is behind the counter grinning because he's about to ruin your afternoon in the best way possible.

Sauces, Mild to Extreme

THE STORY

Started making hot sauce in my apartment during COVID after getting laid off from a restaurant line. Mason jars, a closet full of fermenting peppers, and a TikTok account.

2020

The Apartment Era

Lost my job as a line cook when COVID shut everything down. Started fermenting peppers in mason jars in my apartment closet. Had nothing but time, a TikTok account, and a stupid amount of cayenne peppers.

2021

First Farmers Market

Showed up to the East Austin farmers market with a folding table and 40 bottles. Sold out in 2 hours. Came back every weekend. People started asking which stores carried us. No stores carried us.

2022

The Production Kitchen

Got the USDA-compliant kitchen. Devon quit his job to run production. Started growing our own peppers on 3 acres east of Austin. First 20 retail stores said yes.

2023

The Burn Bar Opens

Opened the tasting room on Cesar Chavez. Maria came on to run it. Jess painted the fox skull mural on the exterior wall. The Gauntlet Challenge started as a joke between friends. It stopped being a joke.

2024

220+ Stores

Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana. 220+ retail locations. Strawberry Hellfire sold out in 4 hours. TikTok hit 45K. The Gauntlet has a 40% completion rate and people fly in to try it.

Still Growing

Still fermenting. Still growing peppers. Still making Reese taste every batch before it ships. Six people, one kitchen, and a tasting room that smells like garlic and smoke.
